The book recognizes China as the external factor influencing the Indo-Nepal relations and analyses their inter-relationship. The linkage between the domestic politics of each country and their external relations and its impact on the erosion of the security arrangements has also been discussed. Whenever mutuality in a relationship is threatened the security alliances or arrangements stand eroded.
