The term Naxalites comes from Naxalbari, a small village in West Bengal, where a section of the Communist party of India.

Today, there are many problems which India faces. Although there are many, like economic problem, population explosion, etc., but there are some more problems which India suffers from and which have proved themselves to be the top class priority demanding obstacles in order to clear the road to reach the success sooner. Naxalism is one of them. Naxalism is a Marxist political party which believes that the only way to create a just society in India is by an armed revolutionary overthrow of the existing state system.

The objective of this book is to bring together a balanced selection of core concepts as well as new perspectives that collectively articulate a knowledge based view of Naxalism.
